Maleda Bisrat

Maleda is motivated to support governments to address critical needs in strategy, policy and delivery that change citizens’ lives, using her expertise in industrialization, strategy and operations, investment and manufacturing.  

During the Covid-19 pandemic, Maleda helped coordinate key government institutions and development partners to repurpose garment and industrial parks to manufacture personal protective equipment. This pivot saved lives as well as the financial security of many workers.

Maleda is also a board director of FSD Ethiopia, one of ten financial-sector-deepening programs across sub-Saharan Africa.
