Moulay Mhamed Elalamy

Moulay Mhamed Elalamy has been the CEO of Saham Group since 2013, leading the firm’s strategic expansion and operations across multiple sectors. Prior to this, he served as CEO of Saham Assurance Maroc and Saham Assistance, where he played a pivotal role in strengthening the company’s presence in the insurance and assistance industries. His early career includes valuable experience at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where he worked on high-impact strategy and management consulting projects, as well as a tenure at a prominent private equity fund, where he gained expertise in investment management and financial structuring. Academically, he holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of British Columbia in Canada and has enriched his education through exchange programs at Harvard University and Sciences Po Paris.

Under his leadership, Saham has evolved from a primarily insurance-focused entity into a diversified investment holding company with operations spanning customer experience, real estate, education, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, and media. This transformation has been driven by strategic acquisitions, partnerships, and a vision to create value across emerging industries in Africa and beyond.
