Denys Denya
Mr. Denya is a Zimbabwean national with a Bachelor of Accountancy, an MBA from the University of Zimbabwe, and an AMP from Harvard Business School. He is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ACIS).
He began his career at Price Waterhouse before holding senior finance roles at Flexible Packaging Zimbabwe and TA Holdings. In 1996, he transitioned to banking, serving as Chief Executive and Managing Director at MBCA Bank, later becoming Managing Director of Nedbank Africa, overseeing five banks in Southern Africa.
Mr. Denya joined Afreximbank in 2010 as Executive Vice President and was promoted to Senior Executive Vice President of Afreximbank Group in 2024, a position he currently holds.
