Wola Asase

Before joining AFC Wola was a Senior Syndication Officer at the International Finance Corporation (“IFC”, World Bank Group). Out of his 12 years professional career at IFC he spent 7 years of that time located in Washington DC office, 1 year in Dakar &  4 years in Lagos . Prior to this, he held roles of increasing responsibility, from the position of an Investment Analyst to Syndication Officer at International Finance Corporation. Earlier in his career and prior to joining IFC, he was an Investment Analyst at UBS Investment Bank on Wall Street.

Wola is an Investment and Development Finance professional with a wealth of experience in project, Sovereign and corporate finance Syndication, business development, deal structuring, client relationship management, financial and valuation analysis amongst others, garnered across roles in North America, Latin America, Eastern Europe, Middle East and Sub-Sahara Africa. He holds a dual degree in Business and Management Information Systems from Cardinal Stritch University in the USA and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
