Nik Pereira‑Kamath​​​​

Nikhil Pereira-Kamath is Chairman and Co-Founder of Africa Healthcare Network (AHN), the largest independent dialysis and renal care provider in sub-Saharan Africa.  Co-founding AHN in 2015, he served as CEO (2015-2022) and now serves as Chairman. Under his leadership, AHN has grown to over 50 centers across four countries, employing 650+ staff, with a 50%+ CAGR and profitable operations. AHN was recognized by the Financial Times as one of Africa’s Fastest Growing Companies in 2023 and 2024.

Nik is also Chief Business Officer at ProKidney (Nasdaq: PROK), a late clinical-stage biotech company. Joining in 2023 as VP of Business Development, he was quickly promoted to his current role, leading corporate development, business development, strategic finance, and investor relations, and establishing the company’s PMO.

Nik began his career as an analyst in Morgan Stanley’s Healthcare Investment Banking division and then joined Berkshire Partners, where he played key roles in major transactions. He holds a BA in Economics from Princeton and an MBA from Harvard Business School (with distinction). He is a member of the ISN’s Emerging Leaders Program and an Endeavor Entrepreneur.
